I believe that folks living with medical conditions shouldn't be caged in the identity of "ill patients." From preventive health goals to chronic concerns, I believe we deserve meaning & vitality at every stage of life. And I believe that whatever you're here for, you deserve safety, acceptance and empowerment.
These opinions guide my efforts as a psychologist. My work in health psychology, cancer psychology, and palliative care has attuned me to the unique struggles - and deep resilience - of individuals and families navigating health demands. I dedicate my heart and mind to provide the most effective and therapeutic care for specialized health concerns. And I work hard to provide inclusive, diversity-affirming care that empowers your authentic self.
Expertise needs to be earned. I may have spent time honing my skills, but you have far more experience living your life. We are fellow experts. Let's work together in service of your wellness.

Therapy is an unusual process. You want a clinician who knows the art and science of therapy. And perhaps you also care about who they are, because therapy is a deeply personal experience.
My professional expertise informs the science I apply to your care.
As a health psychologist, I'm familiar with the challenges many face in the medical and mental health systems. It's hard to feel understood. It's hard for the full picture of your symptoms to be addressed because there's so much to manage. Having an advocate matters, whether you're managing a life transition, trying to fix your sleep, or living with cancer.
As your advocate, I see you and support you as a whole person. I address many aspects of your emotional and physical health that go well beyond just symptom reduction.
Who I am as a person guides the compassion I bring to your care.
I am a South Asian American psychologist and unwavering ally. And as a bicultural person who has lived in two countries, I have my own experience with otherness.
I also recognize my privileges. I recognize that I will never fully understand your own experience of otherness. You probably live with enough assumptions being made about you. I believe in learning about you from you, while lightening the burden society puts on you about your physical ability, age, shape, gender, race, or upbringing.
Learning from the folks I've been fortunate to serve, I have seen that...
...it can lead to empowering, lasting change.
