We do two things in the first few sessions: 1) Gain a critical understanding of your concerns, and 2) Explore tools and insights to support you in the here-and-now.
Your therapist will collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan, which includes expected duration of therapy.
We accelerate and modify our approach for time-sensitive, short-term needs such as medical decision-making, collaborating care with other health professionals, and some end-of-life needs.
Flexible Schedule
Meet once a week for 50 minutes (individual) or 60 minutes (couples/family therapy).
30-minute sessions are available (e.g., if health symptoms are flaring up).
Some situations benefit from longer sessions.
Virtual Format
All services are on secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom Health Video.
We can provide individual video links for each client in couples/family therapy, though we recommend joining from the same location.
Tech-forward Therapy
Schedule your sessions online. No more phone tag.
Send secure messages to your psychologist for questions that arise between sessions.
We build you a living portfolio of insights, multimedia tools, and handouts you can access online, where you also receive direct comments and guidance from your therapist.
Client portal and online forms = no scattered paperwork.
Payment
Since we are out-of-network with insurance, the session cost is due on the day of the session.
You're asked for a credit card when you book, but you are not charged until the day of your session.
Your card information is stored with the payment merchant and cannot be viewed by the Inclusive Health team. You are never charged for "surprise" services.
Insurance Reimbursement
If your insurance has out-of-network mental health coverage, you're likely to get part of the costs reimbursed to you. Most Bay Area clients receive 50-80% of costs back.*
We also offer to file therapy bills to your insurance, at no cost to you, using a service called Mentaya.
You're not required to use this service. Some folks prefer submitting claims themselves or not using their insurance at all.
*Important: Sadly, clinicians have zero control over how much insurance will reimburse you and the accuracy of information provided by insurance companies. Despite the courtesy services offered here, please double check your coverage by contacting your insurance provider.
